How to use Tragitto

Getting started

Create your first trip, sign in, and learn your way around the app in a couple of minutes.

Your trip is a shared timeline everyone can see. Setting one up takes about thirty seconds.

  1. Open the app and tap the + button on the Trips screen.
  2. Give your trip a name and add your destination.
  3. Pick your start and end dates.
  4. Tap Create — your shared timeline opens right away.

Sign in

No password to remember — and the same account syncs across every device.

  1. Choose Continue with email and we'll send a 6-digit code, or pick Google or Apple.
  2. Enter the code (or approve the social sign-in) and you're in.

Find your way around

The timeline is the heart of each trip. Two controls do most of the work.

  1. The glowing orb opens the AI Concierge.
  2. The ••• menu (top right) holds sharing, auto-import, notifications, export, and more.

Step 02

Build your itinerary

Add flights, hotels, and activities, attach your tickets, and keep everything tidy.

Each item lands on the timeline in the local timezone of where it happens.

  1. Tap + on the timeline.
  2. Pick a category, then the type.
  3. Fill in the details — title, place, date and time.
  4. Save. A flight that lands at 3pm local reads as 3pm, wherever you are.

Attach tickets & documents

Keep boarding passes and confirmations where you'll actually find them.

  1. Open any item and scroll to Tickets or Documents.
  2. Add PDFs — up to five tickets and five documents per item.

PDFs travel with the trip, so they're available even offline on the plane.

Edit or remove an item

  1. Tap an item to edit it, then Save.
  2. To remove one, swipe it left and tap Delete.

Plan together

Invite the people on your trip — and the people back home — each with the right level of access.

Editors vs. followers

You choose each person's role when you invite them.

  1. Editors add and change items alongside you.
  2. Followers — like family back home — see the plan and your updates, but can't edit.

  1. Open the members area or the ••• menu.
  2. Share your trip link.
  3. Anyone who taps it joins in their role — no separate account needed, a Google sign-in works.

The follower view

Followers see your itinerary, schedule, and any location you choose to share — never your booking references, chat, or private notes. A small badge reminds them they're viewing, not editing.

Sync & offline

Your trip lives on your device, so you can view and edit even on a plane. Everything syncs the moment you're back online, and you'll see your companions' changes in real time.

Let AI do the work

The AI Concierge and email forwarding are Premium, unlocked per trip — they turn a pile of bookings into a plan.

  2. Forward a flight, hotel, or restaurant confirmation to it.
  3. The AI extracts the details and adds them to your timeline automatically.

Open •••Export as PDF for a clean, shareable itinerary with every day and detail — handy for offline backups or sharing outside the app.

Common questions

Is Tragitto free?

Yes — planning is free. Download the app, create trips, build your timeline by hand, invite companions, and share in real time at no cost. The AI Concierge and email & booking forwarding are Premium, unlocked per trip.

What does Premium cost?

Premium is a one-time purchase per trip during our beta — you'll see the exact price in the app before you buy. It unlocks the AI Concierge and booking forwarding for that trip, with a generous AI allowance. Need more? You can top up tokens anytime. Premium is available on both iPhone and Android.

When does Premium activate and expire?

Premium activates the moment you create the trip and stays active until shortly after the trip ends — so it's there throughout your planning and travel. Each new trip is its own purchase.

Do my travel companions need to install the app?

Owners and editors do — they can add and modify items. Followers (parents, partners) can install too, or simply receive read-only updates. Either way, no separate accounts are required: a Google sign-in works.

What's the difference between an editor and a follower?

Editors add and change items with you. Followers see the plan and your updates — including any location you share — but can't edit. Pick a role when you invite someone.

How does forwarding bookings work?

Each trip gets a unique forwarding email address. Forward your flight, hotel, or restaurant confirmations there, and our AI extracts the dates, times, locations, and confirmation numbers automatically — adding them to the shared timeline.

Do my bookings get added automatically?

Yes, on Premium. Forward a confirmation to your trip's email address and the AI extracts the dates, times, places, and confirmation numbers and adds them to your timeline.

Can I use the app offline, like on a plane?

Absolutely. Your trip lives on your device — view, add, and edit anytime. Everything syncs when you're back online, including AI suggestions you queued.

Who can see my data?

Only people you invite. We don't sell or share your trip data. Followers see only your itinerary and (optional) live location — never your booking references, chat, or notes.

Is my location private?

Yes. Location sharing is off until you start it, you choose how long, and it stops automatically. Only people on your trip can see it, and followers never see your bookings, chat, or notes.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Premium is a one-time per-trip purchase, so there's nothing to cancel. For refunds, use the standard process on the App Store or Google Play.

Which devices does Tragitto support?

iPhone (iOS 16+) and Android (Android 8+). Same account, same data, real-time sync between every device.

What languages does Tragitto support?

The app is available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and we're adding more.
